Getting Here
Hop on a train to Hudson or Albany, then grab a rental (Turo) or pre-book a cab (trust us, you’ll want to!). Hilltown Commons is just a 40-minute drive from both (more rental options in Albany!)

Got friends with cars? Perfect—carpool and make it a road trip!

Cell Service
A massive part of Rensselaerville’s charm is how rural it is, but our remote location means that there is limited cellphone coverage on the Hilltown Commons campus. Most guest rooms do not have phones. Please plan accordingly. 

Health and Emergency Services
Hilltown Commons is approximately 12 miles away from the nearest pharmacy, and the closest emergency room is a 40 minute drive. Please bring any prescription medications or medically necessary items with you. We do not have on-site medical services, so if you may require medical attention or supplies, please come prepared or make arrangements with local healthcare providers in advance. 

Camping
To minimize our environmental impact, we do not offer camping (whether car or tent camping) on our property

Smoking
Hilltown Commons is a non-smoking community. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Smoking is not allowed in accommodations, meeting areas, and outdoor deck during mealtimes. 

Pets
Pets are not allowed on campus, except for service animals
